Introducing the successful Thai Student at Griffith University, Ms. Pichayaporn Watcharapanich (Khun Pichy), has received an honor of becoming University Ambassador and Scholarships at Griffith University. At the current she is studying Double major of Master of Marketing and Master of Hospitality and Tourism at Griffith University.

Khun Pichy is an international student originally from Bangkok, Thailand, and is in her final year of a Master of Marketing and Master of Hospitality and Tourism at Griffith’s Nathan campus. Khun Pichy previously worked in hotel sales and is pursuing master’s degrees in marketing and tourism to optimise her career success in the hospitality industry. After she graduates from Griffith University, she is also eligible to apply for full time employment for 18 months in Australia.

Khun Pichy chose Griffith for its excellent global reputation and calibre of its business degrees as well as the ‘real world experience’ Griffith’s teaching staff possess. In her spare time, she enjoys picnics, chasing sunsets and spending time with her lifelong friends she met at Griffith.

Package offers

If you meet all the academic entry requirements for your preferred UQ program, but need help to meet the English language requirements, you may be eligible for a package offer.

A package offer includes:

an English language course at UQ College, and
a conditional offer of admission to a UQ program.

When you apply for your UQ program, indicate that you want to apply for a package offer. Don’t apply directly to UQ College.

You still need to provide evidence of your current English language ability (e.g. IELTS or another recognised test). We will assess your skills and place you in the best English course for your level.

Depending on your current English level you will be offered a place in one of the following English language pathways:

Bridging English (BE) – study for between 10 and 30 weeks. You can use the final assessment to satisfy the English language entry requirements for your UQ program.
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) – study for between 5 and 45 weeks. Take an approved English language test at UQ College at the end of the course to show you meet UQ’s English language entry requirements.
